Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”
How do you welcome a stranger into your household?
Hospitality isn’t new to us. It is a character that prevails in most of us. It includes respect and trust towards people whom we know or sometimes towards a stranger. Being hospitable does not only mean offering material things. There is much more meaning behind it which is the thought that you are offering service or help not because you want to show off but because it is the right thing to do.
The hospitality we show towards people leads us to blessings we do not expect. Angels are sometimes dressed as a stranger, and once you let them in your life or treat them with constant respect, you are to receive a whole bunch of blessings, may it be tangible or not.
